Welcome Back Cavaliers! 

Dear Cavaliers,

I hope you have gotten off to a good start with our Remote Learning 2.0.  Our staff has been working diligently throughout July and August to put the needed technology in place to make sure we had a smooth start.  Thank you for your patience as we work through some of the challenges and technical issues that have arisen.  Our daily schedule is set up so students receive direct instruction in the morning and can return each afternoon for support on what was taught that morning.  We also have two weekly access periods that students can work with teachers on assignments that they need support or have questions on.  Teachers may request to see your students during this time.  Please encourage your students to drop in during this time to get additional support.

As things improve in Cowlitz County, we will begin to move toward a hybrid model of learning.  Students will return to in person learning, attend school two days a week, and work from home three days a week.  This plan will be communicated and approved by the Longview School Board and District Office.  As we move into hybrid learning, safety will be our number one concern.  We will work with our students and families to ensure that our students and staff are following safety guidelines, wearing masks, and socially distancing while at school.

I have enjoyed getting to see you as you have come to pick up your materials.  If you have not yet picked up your materials, you can do so in the main office between 7:00 and 3:30 daily.  If you are having any technical difficulties, please call the main office and we will help you problem solve.
